I have always installed my own tips and can honestly say I have never had a bad Lepro tip. I guess im just lucky or stopped using them before they went to hell. I now only install moori soft or tiger everest layered tips. I figure if im going through the trouble of replacing a worn out tip why put a 50 cent tip on when it takes about the same effort to install a 25 dollar+ better quality tip thats going to play better and last longer. Its true you get what you pay for and this rings true in the billiard industry. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish with you tips. After all your cues tip it what is touching the cue ball on every stroke.
