Lesson with Scott Lee

Yesterday, I had my first pool lesson with Scott at my house. During two hours, I had my stroke evaluated, tweaked and was provided with a foundation of knowledge that should prove beneficial in raising my ability to play this game more consistently in the future. (Oh those mother drills gotta love them) As they say, you can have a great teacher, but it is the student's ability to incorporate those learnings and practice, practice, practice that will make a difference.

Scott, I wanted to say thank you and let me know the next time your in town.

PS -- Before someone asks, I paid "Cash" no bounce checks here.

Good for you!!! Keep us posted on how your progress goes.

Thanks, I will be talking to myself while practicing my stroke for the next week (Set/Pause/Finish). However, my wife may begin to think I have lost my mind, but I figure that might be a good idea. I think I won't explain myself and see where it goes. I will either get more time to practice or I will become the new "joke" in the house.

They will!

The mother drills will help him because he has a good attitude and actually wants to get better.

Besides Scott Lee gave him that guarentee remember!

Oh yea, I wonder if Scott has incoporated the DCP clause in his teachings yet? He should guarentee improvement for everyone except DCP!

I'll be with Scott and his crew in Harrisburg, PA, this upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, rolling up in a Beamer, blank check in hand!@#

Good to hear a positive review.

The way I see it, if you want to improve, and are willing to open your mind, and put the time in, you really are guaranteed to improve.

Just so that you know, I don't own a BMW, and I don't have a checkbook, so I'll be paying cash!

Yes, it's amazing what a little structured information can do to one's game.

The MOTHER DRILLS are powerful tools when applied........SPF=randyg

Thanks for all the support. It was well worth it, but it is up to me now and that where the responsibility lies. I will be Mumbling to myself tonight again.

Scott is now in the Northern Virginia area. I wrapped up my session with him this afternoon and I too will be working on my new language - "Mumble, Mumble, Mumble". The lesson was as I expected - profession, organized with lots of feedback. Looking forward to continuing in my development.

Scott will be in the Northern VA area for this evening and again tomorrow back in Sterling. Fun times for the next SPF student.

Cash is king!

Hey Myron,
I can hear you Mumbling up here. Way to go. Keep it up. We are all on a journey and it is up to us to define how we get there.

Tom and Myron...Thanks for the kind words, but you guys were good students, and now realize that the 'guaranteed improvement' is in your hands. You have the tools, and some dedicated practice over the next 2-3 weeks will show a marked improvement in your overall consistency! I enjoyed working with both of you, and look forward to following your own development as higher level poolplayers. :D

I worked with another Az'er today, again at Bungalow Billiards, in Sterling VA. That's a pretty nice room, with pretty good equipment. A great deal too...order lunch and get all your pool time for free! We had a great time, and he went away with some great knowledge, and the desire to put it to use. Then I headed up to Harrisburg! Pool school tomorrow at 8am! :D
