I was about to jump up and call BS on this thread because Alamosa is covered in snow right now! I settled down when I found out this feat happened about Labor Day.

Btw, Alamosa has a cute little poolroom with friendly folks working there.

making it thru all 3 stages of Q-school and getting a card is probably one of the toughest things to do in golf. Percentage wise it is a HUGE obsticle, but if he can get his foot in the door on a lesser tour (Canadian or Nationwide) he will have a better chance of making the big leagues that way. I wish him luck....and I'd want 5 or 6 a side from him

I've been trying to convince him to monday qualify for Nationwide and PGA events, but he hasn't yet. I think it's his best shot in. If he catches a gear he can shoot really low and at least become a fan favorite and get some sponsor exemptions.

YES! The Bank Shot! I coudn't remember the name. I have relatives out there I visit every other year and I stop in the room when I can. The owner has a good memory because he recognized me right away when I was there in May.
