I don't think so. I use to know Steve Hebert pretty well (we have lost touch over the years), I never knew him to use this marking. He either signed them or used a bear with an A in his belly.
Guess it could be something new he is doing.

A cue

I have a 8 point wrapless conversion cue with this A on the butt cap and the person I purchased it from told me it was a Randy Anderson cue.
I am not sure where he is from.
I for some reason remember somewhere in the midwest

I don't think it's an Aldren. I don't remember him ever using a plain A on the butt cap. I will ask him when I see him though. It's possible that when he split from his former partner he used a plain A for a shot period of time, but I really don't think that he ever did.
