i have NEVER seen a cog with super fancy joint caps i have only seen them with phenlioc ones. Its plays like a cog little more feel due to ivory joint and being wrapless.

This is a terrific playing Cog.
Tough to see from these pics, but there are 10-24k gold centerpoints, with gold encased ebony dots at each end of the centerpoints.

That's beautiful I've seen ebony version of that
Cue and I like yours better I'm a big tuxedo fan but
I like to mix it up. Great start lets see some more.

Do u play with it? I'm playing with mine until my
Playing cue sponsor mr Diveney finish's my ivory butt
Sleeved butterfly tuxedo cue. And man these cues hit like
A cannon i may be about to get on mr joes list to have a ultra
Fancy ivory handled cog he has never made on before talked
To him today he's building one now he said he will only build a few
So I bout got down payment down and in few yrs prolly gone have the
2nd ivory handled cog ever and mr joe said it will weigh 19 flat
With sliver inlays and ivory Points joint butt cap should be unreal.

I don't really play with it, since I have about 150-cues, I just play with the ones that already have dings on them.
For instance last night at my APA league  several cues got knocked over onto the hardwood floor.
You pro's don't have to worry about a bunch of drunks banging your cues onto a hardwood floor, and most of the people in my Friday night APA league don't know the difference between a Cognoscenti, or a Lucasi.
Last night my own girlfriend whacked my break cue right to the ground.
Purely accidental, but she is really ****ing clumsy, and clearly more interested in talking rather than playing pool.

Anyway, I love Cognoscenti cues, yours is very nice.
How to you like Pat Diviney cues compared to Joe Gold.
Personally I would think there is quite a difference, with Cognoscenti being more stiff, bigger at the joint, and typically 57.5 inches.

That is true before I was playing for me pat diveny I played
For mike gulyassy who built me the great white which also
Being a high end collecter of cues and cases he was like what u
Wanna play with lol took about a sec to respond ivory handle
Lol so that's were the great white came from not sure if u seen
It pretty sweet. I used it for 1-2 yrs in pro tournaments. But u cracked
Me up talking about your GF and yes you are right us pros don't have
To worry about that as much. But in some tournaments in pool halls has
Happend that's y I keep my cues in my case while open. If someone knocked
My cues over on hard floor they would wake up outside wondering what happend
Lol.

One night in VNEA the GF of one of our players knocked my case over three times.
I finally moved it over to the corner away from everybody, and another girl had to start dancing in the corner and knocked it over.
The case was an old It's George 3 x 6, and the plastic on the top split in three places.
What can you do, at least the George case is still good for storage>>
Welcome to league night, which is why I use pre-dinged cues that still play really good.

I've been told that Joe used 2-ounces of gold (no pun intended) to make my cue, so I doubt I'll take it to league bars, but I do take it to the pool halls.

That's funny not about your case but about GF knocking
It over my GF gaurds my case trained her right lol. Yes u are
Right there is 2 ounces of gold in your cues as well as ebony version
That's y they weigh 21 and up fine cue u have there sir.

Here's fancy matching JPs that are being made
For my cog one for butt will have matching ring work
Ones for shafts won't but all 3 will be ebony ambonya burl
And ivory the ones for shafts will have 1-2 in Roman numerals
Here's a pic a good cue maker friend is making them as a gift
For me hell of a gift right? Will be first cog I ever seen with fancy
Matchin JPs bottom one with my entails is mine he also making a
Set for his cog.
