Level of Game????

quick question, about a few months ago I can easily pocket six or seven balls easily on a very good day and on some of my best days I can probably extend that to eight or nine balls handy.

due to a hectic work schedule (six day/10-12 hours a day) I did'nt get that many practice. then I went and played a couple of friends last week and I noticed that the level of my game have gone to bad to worst pool of my life. I cant barely make 3 balls in a row. I kinda forgotten how to play and at times, the shot that is so easy is the one that I am missing. My friends are'nt that bad really. but, last time I check I am teaching this guys how to shot and now I cant barely beat them.

does practice really makes a lot of difference even though you already know how to play the game??? I can make a couple of great shot and run to the last one. but, my problem is the finishing touch. I cant seem to find the killer shot on the last ball. I also notice that my confidence level of playing people that I dont is not there. I feel and focusing lame.

Can somebody provide me some answers please?? I still want to learn the game at its top level so that I can join big tournaments.

This one is easy , your mental part of the game was not there , you were not focused on pool working 6 12 our days , you showed up to bang some balls with your buddies and thats what happened, you banged balls. When you have practice sessions you are also working on the mental part of te game , getting confidence , focusing on pace etc...etc... you have not been at the practice table much of late so you didn't bring that with you this time. If you want to play at a top level you need to eat , breath , sleep pool with 4 hour a day proper productive practice sessions before you go out and play, every day.

You don't say how long you've been playing. Do you compete in leagues or tournaments? How long and what do you practice?

what game

I shoot 9 ball or 8 ball or 10 ball. I wanted to learn one pocket but It just does'nt fit my game due to my impatienceness.
