Leveling a Table

I have a mechanic coming out today to relevel and cover my table. I have a question for your all. On the short rails no matter which corner pocket I roll the ball to, it drifts away from the pocket. I mean, I start at about 2 inches from the rail and slow roll it and it ends up near the outer tip of the pocket.

I find it odd that it happens on all corner pockets. Could something other than leveling be the problem?

Thanks

Dan

freddy talks in his book how the nap of the cloth can cause rolls toward the pockets at the foot of the table and rolls away from the pockets at the head of the table due to how the cloth is stretched. he talks about allowing for it on some shots. I have never personally seen it happen but deffinately read about it.

sounds like your table has a valley running through it end to end. Your mech should be able to correct this no problem
