Leveling a table

Don't worry, it'll all make sense when you see me do it, Paul kind of made me dizzy too😅🤣🤣

Just teasing Paul if you're reading this😉
Paul saved my a$$ on a Diamond install in KY about 3 years ago. I had to leave a job unfinished for 3 days, I was crushed and defeated. Paul agreed to come on the job and helped ME solve the problem. I love the fact that he did not come to my clients home and TAKE OVER. He let me do my job and assisted me in determining what I (<----- KEY FACT) did wrong. Many people would do the exact opposite, they would SHOW me what I did wrong and fix it. I appreciate that Paul did not cheat me of the opportunity to work through it. I had to figure it out and he taught me with his KNOWLEDGE BASE and not his EGO!

Another plus in this situation: I got to demonstrate my Simonis Glue down method( Yup, I do it my own way) to him after we got the other issues sorted. We were there for 3-4 hours, customer was completely satisfied and the story ended the way it should always: HE GOT WHAT HE PAID FOR. I got lessons and feel blessed about what started out as a dicey situation!

THANKS PAUL SMITH !!! :)

Now if they would have just listened to me about how to take superglue slates apart, they wouldn't have broken the end slate on a 9ft professional, 30mm thick, instead of it breaking apart at the seam😅acetone is your FRIEND that devolves superglue😉

Anyone could have made that mistake, but I talked to Paul afterwards, and the use of acetone never crossed his mind, but said he'd remember it now.

When I was stripping my Anniversary rails in preparation for sending to Jack Zimmerman for overhaul I experimented with attempting to remove all the staples. It appeared to me that not many mechanics that had worked on my table over the last 60 years, or so cared much about getting all those staples out.
