Looking for myself now!!!

My limit is $1,000

Realistically I want a ebony sneaky with 5/16x14 ivory joint

I am flexible with other cues as long as it has a 5/16x14 pin, period.

Please let me know what is out there.

Thanks,

Patso

You'd Probably Be Better Off If.......

You might have your pal tell you what his price range is since ivory joint cues can range from $800-1000 to $4-5,000 and certainly a whole lot higher. Ergo, all he has to do is tell you his maximum....what's the most he'd spend on any cue-maker's ivory joint cue.....forum members that have cues available in his budget range would probably be more quick to step up to the plate.

i have a gilbert in for 830 shipped. it is 3/8 10 ivory joint w/ ivory furrles 2 shafts. if interested pm me.

That is a great looking cue........

The RB Cue.......Bob Farr's

The Richard Black cue in the Forum link from Bob Farr's post is a great looking 4 pt veneeer cue. Bob is a terrific guy to transact business with, For the price, that RB cue looks to be an outstanding deal. I realize that everyone has their favorite cue-makers but rest assured, Richard Black is one of the most highly regarded, esteemed American cue-makers in history......you can't go wrong with a Richard Black cue if it meets your cue specs......and you can't go wrong doing business with Bob Farr either.

I do not yet own a Richard Black cue yet because my search interest has waned.........I've become mesmerized by one particular Richard Black ivory joint cue which has set the bar height for me. In one of Eddie Money's hit songs, he sang a verse......."Take me home tonight."....and every time I look at this one particular Richard Black cue, I hear that verse in the back of my mind. The cue is a Richard Black Alamo cue and it is the most attractive RB cue I've ever seen. I really treasure both my Scruggs and Mottey ivory joint cues but that Alamo cue makes me weak in the knees. Bill G. has it listed on his website (www.cornerstonecues.com) and we've discussed terms but I just haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much for just one, single cue. In any event, that damn Alamo cue has eroded my desire to acquire any other Richard Black ivory joint cue.

I hope you find what you're looking for and along the way, do not ever become fixated on any particular cue like I've become with the RB Alamo cue.

Bump

Thank you for the post I will look over the RB and think it over. I am very specific with my cue hit and look so If I don't decide to go with the RB or any other cues I see....I might just get one built.
