Light Building question

Take my word for it, the low setting was really yellow, and not yellow like a light bulb

I believe you, it's almost like a lemon+amber in a way, that's the problem I keep hitting. I can get what I want with gel filters, but apparently not from a low light source directly.

EDIT: Whatever the CRI is, it's fine, look at his picture. In pictures/stills a bad CRI really stands out, not so much in person (but enough).

Light was great in the middle setting, I was a commercial photographer for 35 years and very sensitive to changes to color balance. Surprised they didn't have the grid work at menards, it was in the section by the ceiling tile, for drop ceilings. I can take a darker picture of it, to better understand. Came in 2'x4' panels, and cut second one in half to end up with a 6' length. I have a picture of the bare wood frame during construction. I dovetailed the side pieces to the front and back pieces, but I have a full wood shop. Could also be made with a Kreg jig, or also just dowel the frame together, Will try and get a picture tomorrow of the corner supports, and threaded eyes I used for the chain to attach to. I stained it first, but new table came in slightly redder, and it didn't match, so just spray painted it an off black ( charcoal ), and really like it this way. Sides were about 4" high

They just had the white version in a 2x4.grid. I'm gonna get the silver one like diamond uses in their light. My wife and I are gonna try and replicate the corners or close to it like the diamond light if not just gonna make it into a box light.

I'm gonna stain it gunstock as this was the color that the diamond table I'm getting is closest too. Hopefully everything turns out well

Watts=energy being used
Lumens= how bright/ light being put out
K= temperature/ color scale. 5500 k is ~noon clear sky daylight
CRI= accuracy of colors . Do blues look green and yellows look orange, this could be it or the K or both.
