I'm Using Pool House Mananger, And The Lights Have A Mind Of Their Own.

Is There A Manual Switchbox I Can Buy, And Bypass Using The Program For Lighting Control?

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

X-10

I also had problems with PHM controlling the lights. It wasn't the programs fault. It was my 3 phase electric system. I was told by smartHome.com tech department that I needed a phase connector. I couldn't find a electrical contractor that was willing to put it it. The contractors said it was too small a job. They also said I should put hard wire controls. I used the X-10 wireless controllers. It wasn't what I wanted, but it worked as far as turning the lights off and on.

x-10 issues

Long winded....

There are a few things to consider when installing x-10. It is a system that is really designed for a single phase 110 system like a home. When you put it on a 3 phase system, like fond in most industrial buildings, the signal has to "Jump" passively across the phases which is unreliable. You can buy phase links to bridge the phases and rebroadcast devices that resend the signal it gets from the controller to all 3 phases.
The other problem that happens is power line noise generated by poorly designed electronics. Refrigerators, Big Screen TV's etc can cause this. This nose can also be coming in from an outside source too, like an adjacent business. Line filters can be installed to isolate your business from the outside world and also if you know that a piece of equipment you have in your business is causing a problem, you can get a filter for it.
When you put together a new room try to put all of there lights and the controller on a just 1 of the 3 phases without totally messing up the distribution of the power usage across the 3 phases, that is where you can cut down on a lot of issues. This usually means putting the lights and the controller on every third breaker in your electrical panel.
If you are just having a problem with the lights on a particular breaker, try having it moved to the same phase that is working well.
Sometimes you will find a noisy piece of equipment on the phase that is causing problems too.
There is a line noise tester for X-10 installers too. I can get a model number off of mine if someone wants it.
Hope this info helps you.
