Selling a lightly used WW cue that was in my uncles collection for over 20 years. It was purchased some time in the early 2000’s and only played a few racks with before being put away. It still has the original triangle tip which is almost new.
Cue: WW made by Steve Kornele/Greg Willingham. Reported less than 80 or so made after Steve left Verl Horn’s shop after his death in 1999 and before Steve started on his own.
Butt: six points ebony (3 hi, 3 low) into birdseye maple with Irish linen wrap, ebony butt sleeve with 6 ivory diamonds ( 3 large, 3 small) and plastic butt cap. Ivory joint and 6 Ivory checks in the ringwork. 29” @ 15.5 oz. 3/8-10 pin
Shaft: 1 shaft with ivory ferrule. 6 Ivory checks in ringwork. 29", 13.24 mm @ 3.9 oz.
Total weight is 19.4 oz, 58” long
Condition: Shaft has a small roll but nothing bad considering the age. Butt rolls straight on a table. Butt is in very good condition, but you can feel the rings through the finish. Again, not terrible for its age.
Solid hitting cue that has all the hallmarks of Verl Horn’s influence on Steve Kornele workmanship.
$800 $750 shipped. U.S. sales only
