lil help

I downloaded these videos for practice and on these particular shots
I can't even come close,
for instance this 1st shot I've set up so many many times and theres no way I can get the ball to come off on the location the diagram indicates at such a short distance
its beyond me at this time the only thing it doesn't show is how much ball to hit
I figure alot because a small clip will send it way up to the corner
also it appears the shooter plays it opposite English than the chart shows same amount just appears he hits the other side if not center ball

so...
any pointers?

How are you hitting the ball ? It looks like a draw/spin to me. Maybe hit it with low right ?

I was hitting it like it showed me but it may actually be upside down for reason
at first it looked like high right
low right worked
strange way of displaying where to hit
