Limited Edition ERs for AzBers

I have been recieving inquiries here in Az for a while now and as everybody knows, my cues are all 1 ofs and thus are priced quite prohibitive for most.

I have decided to make availability here a priority on a series of 12 cues to be released in 2005. Ivory joint, 6 v-spliced points with 3 veneered long points and 3 short solid hardwood points in high figure tiger maple, leather wrap with embossed lizard pattern, 3 10mmx40mm ivory windows in the butt and 3 minor inlays, 2 shafts with ivor-x ferrules, ER tip and ivory inlayed joint protectors. You have a choice of scrimshaw design in black&white to go in the 3 ivory windows. Price=$1,400 with 50%d/p upon placement of order.

With the personnal choice of scrimshaw designs, this in essence makes each cue a one-of-a-kind cue.

You can PM me or JoeyInCali, as he will be assisting me with the correspondence and shipping of these cues, for inquiries. So here it is, you asked for it you got it! But it's only limited to 12 on a first come first serve basis.

My special thanks to all the friendly people here.

scrimshaw designs

Ed, Thanks for letting people like me have a chance of having one of your cues. On the scrimshaw designs will you do anything like from a picture I have or do you have to pick from things you have also do the cue come with a COA from you. Thanks Hannphie

I'll scrim whatever picture you send(check out Bandido's Cues for capability), with as little editing as possible and it will come with a certificate.

Tip:
Cut out a rectangle on a piece of paper with a dimension of 10mm wide by 40mm tall. You can use this as a mask over a photo or illustration that you've chosen. You can magnify or reduce your illustration to fit properly inside the mask. Check out the detail capability in cue "Stay Away" (Tigress and cub) so you'll have an idea on what design resolution you can choose from. Anything you desire as long as it will be rendered in "black and white". There are 3-10mmx40mm panels so design to your hearts content. Have fun composing!:)

Shipping charge is just going to be from Los Angeles to your location as the cue is going to be hand carried to L.A.

These cues, as all my cues, will be signed, dated and numbered which will be reflected in the certificate. Cue serial number shows as month of completion/year and series-cue number after the signature.

Serial numbers 0X/2005AzB-01 and 0X/2005AzB-02 have been taken. 0X/2005AzB-03 and 0X/2005AzB-04 are awaiting confirmation. Thanks guys and don't forget to start on looking for scrim designs to send me.

0X/2005AzB-03 is taken. I will start machining the brass radial 3/8"x9tpi 1oz. joint pins tonight. Picture of joint pins will be posted.

lol? Here BiG_JoN so you don't have to wait any longer. To do this, I ground my own bit then used my 2.5 mm round carbide burr on my thread mill for the last pass.

As you can see those 2 pins weigh exactly 2 ozs. or 1 oz. per pin.

Here's a closer look. This just needs air/glue relief channels on the anchor end and polishing on the protruding end (no buffing compound on the anchor end as these reacts to your epoxy).
