Lishan Cue on Ebay

I have never heard of a Lishan cue. I did not see one in the Blue Book. Anybody know about these cues?

Last time i heard of a that name was about 18 years ago. Think they were just another cheapie taiwan job cue with the "canadian hard rock maple" shaft on top of it. I think i remember them having some sort of advertisement in the backs of the pool magazines. (can't believe i want to go dig up old magazines to check)

I knew a guy who had one actually. Cue played ok from what i remember.

And i don't know why, but for whatever reason, COBRA cue is coming to mind when i think of Lishan. Maybe they were sold side by side by in the same advertisement? Maybe Lishan was Cobra's high end line?
I dunno.

They were an early line of imports made by Kao-Kao in Taiwan (same as Cobra and others). They are one of the larger suppliers of cues in Asia and make cues under many different names.
