Can someone create a complete list of the names of all the various aiming systems? No explanations. No arguments over the pros and cons. No battle of egos. Just a simple complete list? TIA

How much will you pay me?

Oh, please, Jude! Okay. I'll start:

Object ball contact point
Ghost ball
Fractional ball
Point on the rail/wall
Clock system/object ball edge
Others ???

Strictly aiming. Not the application of sidespin, please ( i.e. BHE ).

The "trust yourself" system.

LOL....

I would pay you to get rid of all these damn aiming threads.... :D :D

Who cares if 1 system has 4 flaws and 1 system isn't geometrically correct...
Just hit the damn ball.. :p

That's What I'm Known For.... My AIMING

I have a system called "Blink, Squint, Fart and Pull The Trigger".

Doug
( it's VERY similar to my "Pull my finger, then fart" system ) :)

Edited to add: There aren't any 'pros' to my system, but there ARE a few 'cons'......that I can't go into here.. imo
.

Find the book, "Aiming on the cutting edge", (by Todd Leveck) and read the last couple of chapters. Great information on the 7 aiming systems......SPF=randyg

You may laugh if you like, but I saw a number of players using MY system at the Senior's Tournaments that I attended........ and some were HOF'ers.

Doug
( you'll try it oneday too, whether you intend to or not.... imo )

"grip it and rip it", this system is also very popular in golf and various single player activities...

I think "trust", "fart", and "rip" are all the same technique. I would call them "intuitive aiming". Anything more for the list or is that it ?
