I just acquired a Little Al Romero sneaky pete today and I have to say, it is amazing. The original owner stated that he bought it from Al in 1986 or 7. The shaft wood is amazing. Stiff in all the right ways. I was a little amazed at the fact that the pin is 3/8 11. I had not seen that pin on a cue from the 80's except for SW's. Does anyone know if all of his SP's have this pin. I just got home from the pool hall and needed to share my thoughts.

Thanks for sharing. He does make a great player. I used to watch him at work back at Hard Times in Bellflower, sometime between 1990 and 1992. I miss that place and Southern California. Please post some pic's soon.

Little Al

I will post some photos tonight if I can. I spoke with Al, and he did use the flat bottomed 3/8-10. This cue is magical. I can't wait for my Runde to have 20 year old shafts.
