Little bar cue conversion I did, threw a wrap on this one.

Found a ratty bar cue at a thrift store, was a decent candidate for some practice on wrap grooves and such.

Points were too far out to salvage to begin with, but it turned out kinda cool.

I wish people who have the old Dufferin's didn't want $90 per cue. I'd convert a ton of em if I could get my hands on em. Love the way these play with a hard maple shaft or carbon fiber.

Stop at some bars or clubs. One place had hundreds of cues in the back room with no tips.Put tips on a1/2 dozen for them and kept about 10 for myself.
Everybody was happy

I've hit up quite a few bars / halls near me and I hear the same thing from all of them. It's either "We don't actually own the cues, the rental company does" or "Sorry, we don't have any we're willing to give you". Which, when you see the state of the cues they offer as house cues, you'd understand why they're not willing to part with even a ratty or broken cue.

I'm hoping someday I get to be first in line when a local pool bar or hall closes and I can grab every house cue worth converting.
