Little cue help wanted

I saw this cue for sale but don't know what to offer. The claim is its an old brunswick about 40 yrs old in very good shape in a imperial case. Its about a 2 1/2 hour drive to go look so I was wondering if any of you can clue me in on what to offer? thanks for your help. (I am not a cue collector or anything, just thought it would be cool to own)

Yes , appears to be a brass joint. He won't ship it, have to pick it up so an over 2 hour drive is not worth my time I suppose.

The cue appears to be a Brunswick from the late 1960's or early 1970's, however, your photo's are not great. It appears to be one of the cues made for Brunswick by Smelke, I say this due to the joint. I do not think it is worth your trouble.
