Earl is warming up..... he's got a sweater on, gloves on both hands, tape on fingers,,,, man he's just ready go earl go

All righty, now. For those of us in the blind and/or on dial-up modem, it would be simply splendid to have a blow-by-blow account of the match for those fortunate enough to be watching it via BCn. Pretty please? :p

For starters, who is Earl playing?

I'll be staying tuned, hoping for a crumb of an update. :(

Hi Jam

In case it's not been updated anywhere else, Earl's playing Jason Miller - yep, that guy again!

It's currently 3-2 to Stirckland, but Miller is at the table, running it out after Earl scratched on the break, during which he made the 9.

And Miller finishes the rack to tie it at 3.

Thanks, Cardman. So they're now tied up and raring to go. How is Earl's tableside demeanor? Is he loose as a goose or more reserved?

Refresh my memory again. What are they racing to?

Earl is starting to slump in his seat. But behaving well.
4-4 tie as of now.
going to 7

I don't like to hear that Earl's slumping this early in the set, but it's still early.

What are they racing to again?

Jason Miller will have the $25,000 top DCC prize all locked up if he scores high in this 9-ball portion of the event.

Jason and Earl making some mistakes. game 9, Earl gives Jason BIH.
JM runs out
5-4 Miller

Earl has a buy back but , Jason Miller does not.

Wow. Race to 7, and it's neck and neck. Anything can happen.

If Jason gets knocked out this round, is he still a shoe-in for the Louie Roberts A/E Award, or will it depend on who rises to the top of this 9-ball event?

JAM

As slow as my computer is running today, by the time this post gets on the thread, the set will be over.

Did he pocket any balls? He must be moving the 9-ball if he made it once on the break, but scratched. Race to 7. That's brutal.

I'm sure this Jason fellow is a great guy, but I'm kind of pulling for Earlie Boy at this juncture. Oh, well. May the best player win!

JAM

Can Jason get out? I'll bet you could fry an egg on Earl's head right about now!
