Dear Cuesport Enthusiast
You are invited to utilize the services that we have created at BallStream.com for the live scoring of snooker and billiards matches. The BallStream live scoring service is free to use by all snooker and billiards clubs to broadcast live scores of their events to an international web audience. Scoreboards for all monitor sizes from giant plasma screens to mobile phones. The images below show the small pop-up window (left) and fullscreen display on the right:
The live scoring system includes many features such as photo upload and auto-sizing for display on the scoreboard, match print out showing each visit to the table, choice of scoreboard display for all monitor sizes and more. To explore these features you can create a demo scoring account online at any time. When and if you want to start broadcasting scores to the public all you have to do is send an email from the web site to confirm your club/event involvement... then all of your matches will appear in the main programme on our home page and other club sites like the one at http://www.qbsa.com.au
BallStream also provides live streaming and a video archive of snooker finals from our own servers. To date we have a collection of most of the main events held in Australia this year and if you are interested in this area I can arrange a streaming channel for your organisation and discuss the best means for live broadcasting and recording for high quality video. We also have custom software for embedding scoreboards into video files and will soon complete our “pay per view” system to enable contributors to retrieve some costs from their events.
In the meantime I hope that you find the live scoring service useful and look forward to further discussion.
Best regards
William Kent
