Championship League Snooker

I post this just in case anyone is online in the next hour.

There are currently two Championship League matches being televised. Strange atmosphere because there is - literally - no audience. It's held at a golf club somewhere in the UK and the organisers apparently didn't think they needed to invite snooker fans. I think it's being shown to punters in betting shops.

Very high quality streams, with minimal buffering, possibly because so few people are watching it.

O.K. Pardon my ignorance here (not from UK) Who are these guys? I just watched a player named Allen pot in a 91 break!!! They play pretty sporty........is this semi-pro play??

Next frame Perry up 53 - 8 .........Allen runs a 68 total clearance to win 76 - 53. Very good player.

Thanks,

Mike

They are all top flight pros. I think Allen is a top twenty player, one of the younger pros. Perry is pretty good too, though he's been around a lot longer. Hendry, Ebdon, Williams etc have won ten world titles between them but slipping back a little in the rankings.

My cue and my table are now breathing a sigh of relief LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they were some once a week league players. When I saw that first break I was ready to quit and sell everything snooker realated I own.

Thank you for keeping my passion alive!!!!!!!

Mike
