So I joined a bowling league on Fridays with some other pool friends...something else to do. This bowling alley has been around since the 1950's, Crosley Lanes in Vancouver WA, and originally had about six 9' Brunswick Anniversary tables installed to go with their 50+ lanes. They sold a couple over the past 10 years since I had been there and last week there were 4. I went there last night and they were all gone because they wanted the space to put those ticket redemption games for the kids. I asked the guy on duty what they did with them as I would be interested in them. he said that they sold them to someone who is going to restore them and sell them for 4 times what he paid for them. I said bummer, that's exactly what I would have done. I think they were fairly beat up being from a bowling alley and having kids beat their sticks on them for 50 years. But still would have been a nice project.
