Has anyone heard anything regarding Mike O'Hara's new room on the West side of Phoenix ? Supposed to be a Pool Room with poker tournaments also.
I thought it was supposed to be up and running by now.
Mike sure knows the business. Hope he hasn't run into local ordinances, that may have discouraged him. Any updates anyone? Whats up Mike.
Believe it was to be called "Sweet Tooth" or something similar.

I heard he will have diamonds in there! If that is true... we will all be in there getting ready for LV this spring!

I got your info Dick.

The place is called Sweet Tooth Billiards. It's located in the old 'The Break Cue' location on 43rd Ave / Peoria.

They got all permits passed and it will most likely open the first week of January.

It will have 10 bar boxes, and 2 or 3 - 9' Diamonds (last I heard). About half of the barboxes are going to be Diamonds as well.

They will have poker tables with free poker tournaments every night.

The room is 24/7 and will NOT have alcohol.

I'm finishing up the Ad that will go up on www.azpoolscene.com as we speak and you will be able to check the progress and updates there.
 
In regards to Local Questions. You should join the Forum on azpoolscene.com to discuss anything Arizona. It's so hard to post local stuff on here because you'll be pushed to the 2nd/3rd/10th page of forum rather quickly.

I think they had some problems getting the stripper poles installed. That's the only hold up from what I hear.
 
Is he going to have a billiard table too? I thought that was the original plan??

Speaking of Stripper Pole, beside More Pool Tables, Jimbo's in Glendale did just that. Installed a BRASS Stripper Pole.:smile:
