Picked up a Logan Turret Lathe on Craig's list for 150.00. Mostly rebuilt and painted. Has a 5C collet changer and a 3 jaw chuck also. Who's a happy guy?

You can't post this without at least 1 picture of it.

My apology Neil, but it was mostly disassembled for transport. So I have pieces of it laying around the shop. I'll be looking for tooling since I have ran taig lathes to this point.

Still smiling,

Once set up correctly you will have a nice ferrule and joint protector machine. That is about all I use my turret lathe for.

Good job !

Tooling will be easy. Buy a 5/8" straight shank drill arbor and matching chuck, plus a couple of 5/8" boring bars for HHS turning bits and you'll be close to all set (note I am not a cuemaker nor do I play one on TV or the forums).

And print out a manual :

Have fun and be careful.

Chris,
This one is set up for threading, so I hope to use it to live thread also.
