Lone Star event 10,000 in payouts??

The Houston Lone star event says they had over $10,000 in payed winnings. When looking at the article on the front page, I noticed the payouts were kinda light for $10,000 added. I broke out the calculator and all payed winnings added up to $5,550. What gives? Its one thing to payout less then expected, its another to flat out lie about the total payout and then post the payouts for each place at the bottom of the article.

Does anyone know whats up? Not trying to stir up sh*t just pointing out something that was obviously wrong to me.

the total payouts were for all four events plus auction.

Ok, if thats the case then that makes sense. I forget about auctions because in arizona they do not do auctions, we do side pots.

Yeah I believe it included the auctions and it was advertising it as $10,000 in payouts, not $10,000 added, that's a very different thing. It was a $3350 added event. Kim runs a great tour and always has good turn outs.
