Long distance table move

I've been looking for either a Brunswick Montebello or Windsor table on Craigslist. I've seen some excellent deals ($2000-$3000), but they are always across the country. I'd need to have a mech inspect, disassemble, pack and ship and then get a mech on my end to assemble. Would it be worth it? OBTW, they always seem to be 9' tables (I'd prefer an 8 footer), is that just coincidence?

Actually there are more 8 ft tables made so keep watching. One will pop and you can call Scruffy as he is in your neck of the woods. He may even have a nice antique style table that may work for you. A simple model perhaps in your price range but a much better value both short and long term. 2-3k for those tables is too much, maybe 1500 tops then you have your other costs to add on
