longer joint screw for balance

If you want a cue to weigh more and be more forward balanced, can you just remove the joint pin and install a longer one? do they make longer joint pins than the typical 3" or could you just replace a 3" 5/16x18 pin with a 6" 5/16x18 threaded stainless rod?

The 18 thrd pin is not a heavy pin to begin with so doubling it's length/wght. still may not get you to where you want to be. A 6" joint pin is unheard of.
A lot of work for very little gain.
A SS joint collar and/or a SS Radial pin will give you your biggest gains without compromising the structural integrity of the cue. If that still doesn't get you to where you want to be, you may have the wrong cue to start with.
