looking for a 314 3/8-10

Pre-Cat Predator 314 (3/8-10; Needs Minor Re-Facing)

Hello,

I have an early Pre-Cat" 314 shaft, for a 3/8-10 pin, measuring 12mm, with LePro medium or hard tip.

The shaft rolls straight on its own, but when assembled on a McDermott butt, there is a minor lift of the tip.

This means that the joint needs to be "re-faced" by a cue repairman.

From what I understand, the procedure is relatively inexpensive; similar to having a tip installed. Around $15.00. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I planned on taking the shaft to this year's Super Billiards Expo to have it re-faced, and then I was going to put it up for sale.

The shaft has a hariline crack at the collar, and it has been repaired. It is
tight and sealed, and thus, a non-issue.

The shaft is very smooth and free of any nicks or dings. There is some minor finish imperfection at the collar, as seen by pics in the link that follows.

I tried this shaft and it hits extremely well. One could play with it as is, or have the shaft re-faced. I'm not sure it re-facing it makes any improvement in its play? As I've stated, when the shaft is rolled on a table by itself, it rolls perfectly straight.

If you're looking for an early Predator, "Pre-Cat" 314, it can be yours for only $75.00. This includes shipping,
and as I'm feeling generous, I'll include a brand new Tiger Sniper tip, a $14.00 value.

Here are some pics of this shaft:

JMW, I sent you a PM, BUT

So there is no confusion, I thought that the posted was making an open offering to sell this Shaft.

Am I confused.

If this was not the case and he wanted it to be offered only to the Original Poster, why didnt he just PM the original poster and not make a product offering to the general public?

However, if the original poster wants this shaft, I will be happy to let them have this shaft.

If I stepped on the posting, I appologize,

I just thought that it was an open sale.

I Goofed Up! (Predator Pre-Cat 314 Shaft)

Hello All,

AZ user acedonkeyace just made me realize that I goofed up on this post.

I'm relatively new to AZ, and I should have PM'd NJ_Qball, and not made the post public.

Hence, I appreciate the offer from acedonkeyace to purchase the shaft, but I do want to wait and see if the OP of this thread, NJ_Qball is interested.

If not, then consider it sold to acedonekyace (Mike).

And Mike, thanks for your sincerity, and for recognizing my mistake.

My apologies to you and anyone else confused by my actions. Please realize that I'm still learning the ropes about making posts, and the messaging system, etc., here on AZ.

In closing, I'll send a PM to the OP to see if interested, before going any further.

Sincerely,

Glen (strum4u)

The Best Deal on This Forum, for a Pre-Cat, Predator 314!

Hello,

The OP of this thread contacted me and said he would have to pass on this shaft due to personal issues.

I offered the shaft to another interested party, though that AZ menber never came through with the funds, as per the specifcs of my payment request.

Hence, I've re-posted this early, Falcon-made, Predator 314 (Pre-Cat) shaft, with 3/8-10 pin.
