My recommendation is to just buy a new Custom Sneaky Pete. There is a thread on AZ recently which talks about options for SP cues. You can sell the cue you have and order exactly the wood you would like to have for your new cue. Personally, I feel the 5/16-18 pin flat faced joint is not as good of a playing joint as compared to a piloted 5/16-14, radial, 3/8-10 or 11 wood to wood -- just my 2 cents....Happy Shopping![]()
His 314 doesn't have the piloted joint...rackem said:Just a side question here. How would it work to put a flat faced 314 shaft on a butt that has a stainlesss steel piloted 5/16 by 18 joint. Would it not hit right minus the pilot. Or would it really matter as long as it cinches up nice and rolls straight.
rackem said:Yes I know that. What I was asking is how would it work. Hope I don't have to go over to cuemakers to ask![]()
