Unfortunately, I am not a fan of bacote but thank you for your offer, which is very much appreciated.I have a bacote plain Jane I could sell for $375. Brand new.
I got lucky with my bacote breaker (middle cue) from Schmelke as I normally don't like bacote either...Unfortunately, I am not a fan of bacote but thank you for your offer, which is very much appreciated.
How much would you charge for a custom plain jane?
Looks very nice, as do your other cuesI got lucky with my bacote breaker (middle cue) from Schmelke as I normally don't like bacote either...
Very nice looking cue, how does it play?Schmelke did this one for me for $200 to my specs.

Looks to be more if it didn't have the points and all cocobolo or rosewood in the handle.

Thank you, but he's not taking custom orders anymore.Maybe Ed Robinson. You can look him up on Facebook. He builds nice Titlist Conversions too. His customs are probably as cheapest as it gets for a decent custom cue.

Thanks a lot for your time and input, the Joss sneaky was recommended by another member as a great playing cue.My only other thought was Chad Carter, who is surely the best bang for buck custom cue maker in America. No idea what a Merry Widow would cost from him these days, but surely far cheaper then what most others charge.
Chad Carter is a very talented, and long time cue maker, who builds an amazing playing cue in my opinion.
If willing to order from the Philippines then $300 would probably get you a nice Merry Widow. Possibly from Joel Dadivas (JD cues), but maybe not, because he might be the very best cue maker in the Philippines.
For $300, I woukd say the very best playing cue in the market woukd be a Joss sneaky Pete though, from a dealer.. Retail is like $350, but if you know any dealer friends, then you could probably get one for $300. Even a Merry Widow Joss, but the sneaky looks nicer, in my opinion.
Sorry for going off topic. $300 for any custom just might not be possible these days.
LOL, most shafts alone are probably in the $300 range, on average, from any custom cue maker. Was probably dumb to even mention Chad Carter, because a Merry Widow from him would probably be at lease $600-$700, I am guessing. I was told a few years ago that a 4 point cue from him was in the $800 range. I am feeling stupid now for mentioning him, because I honestly do not know. A collector I know told me that his cues are way under priced though, for the quality of cue that you get.
