Looking for a cue that hits like a Bill McDaniel

I currently shoot with a Bill McDaniel and I am looking to put her up for a while. I was thinking of buying a different cue to shoot regularly with. What would be a good cue to consider. It needs to have a 5/16-14 stainless steel piloted joint. I was kind of leaning towards a Schon, Any help would be appreciated
Thanks, Adam

Depending on price range, Schon and Joss are great production cues with your preferred joint. Spend more and you could get into a Tascarella. I think Tascarella cues are the best piloted steel jointed cues available.

You might also look at a Runde. I have a couple of his and a couple of Schons. To me, his have a better feel to them. Schons all seem to hit very similar. The Runde's just give more feedback. Can't tell why.

A Schon hits nothing like a McDaniel.... You need to get a cue with a 12 inch pro taper. Bill's taper/joint has a lot to do with the playability. I would go with an ivory jointed cue. None of Bill's cues "feel" like steel jointed cues...

I'm pretty sure I can't find one that hits exactly like my McDaniel but one that is close would be nice. I kind of want to put her up for a while and just get something good but cheaper to shoot with.
