I currently shoot with the Mcdermott Tournament of Champions cue with the kings crowns around the butt, but I am thinking of switching to something else. I just wanted to see what kinda cues my fellow AZers might feel like parting with.

My Josey...

Custom Cue... Very well tought of cuemaker based upon opinions given in this thread...

Why buy production when you you can go custom...

There is one other guy who PMed me about this cue so I will have to check what his offer is since I posted Pics recently, but I will definately let it go in that range...

Not sure what you expect in that range... If you can get a Production Schon/Joss/Predator at good doscount then place the order and be done with it... You aren't going to get an elaborate custom in that range... Maybe if you lurk and pounce on a deal you will, but not asking for deals...

That being said I have seen some nice Cokers being sold on this site for <$600 SW style 6 point w/ veneers... They seem to be going for a nice price and they play real well IMHO...

...and no, I do not have any Cokers for sale.

i was actually hoping to get some offers on things like lower end customs along the lines of sneaky petes. my personal opinion on predators is i love how they play but i hate the design. I have had 5 predators and every one has swelled around the metal rings and cracked the clear coat. as far as schons go i'd like to get something with sharp points not the rounded points you get in a schon. I'm sure it was asking alot but i thought maybe someone might just have something laying around they don't use anymore.

i have a jerry olivier sneaky pete. 4 points of cocobolo into a very elaborate curly maple forearm. wood to wood joint, 3-8/10 pin. one shaft. very very good condition, no dents, dings at all.

i will sell it for $280 shipped.

pictures can be sent to your email.

Off the subject, but your McDermott is a bit rare.

I got this quote from Jayme with McDermott customer service:

"We don't have any numbers on these cues, but people who worked here when we were making those estimate less than 200."

I have an unused one.

i have a mike stacey plain jane curly maple. mike just sold a cue with the exact same design (out of ebony and cocobolo) with two shafts on ebay for $425.

you can have the one i have for $475 w/2 shafts and you get a nice leather wrap for your extra $50 and i will pay for the shipping too!!

or if you only want one shaft i will take $375....

Yes i know its rare i looked around for awhile to find it and as far as i'm conserned its the best looking Mcdermott that was ever produced. I'm still debating on selling it or putting it away to use as the start of a collection

Clint Putman is an "up & coming" CM out of Alabama. Several AZers have complimented his work. Anyhoo, I have one of his 4-pointers that i would
part with, and it's well within your range. Clint is truly a Custom maker, doing everything himself in his one-man shop. He makes like 2 cues a month or so.

This cue is 19.5 oz, 12.8MM, 3/8x10 pin, 4 floating points in very nice BEM forearm, matching butt with 4 ebony windows, double-pressed Black Irish Linen wrap, and double silver rings at A,B, & E.

His cues hit a ton and I expect his prices will start creeping up once more people become familiar with his work.
