They can be expensive. I just got a paper for the upcoming woodworking show in Atlanta on Aug. 23 thru 26. It's the biggest in the world and is held every two years. Lots of cool stuff. In the paper they have over 20 companies listed under doweling machines.

Jet is on the list they may make a less expensive machine. That show by the way is worth going to if you are into woodworking in any way. Lots of cnc stuff as well as finishing and everything that is even remotely related to woodworking. I have gone a few times and run into cue makers like Jim McDermott and many others. It's neat to just see the machines, tons of ideas to be had.

Check out the current exhibitors list, the paper says over 1400 exhibitors.

Yes I have one I will take the first $2000 for it picked up. It runs off of 3phase power and I have not got it working in my shop because I have no 3 phase power and have not bought a power converter yet. It has 1", 1.25" and 1.375" dowel cutters. There is a picture of it on my http://www.hightowercues.com/index.php?page=shoptour5 shop tour pages. I saw it work when I bought it from another cuemaker who went out of business and it is just collecting dust. Don't bother with any offers less than $2000 as that is the taking price.
