looking for a dufferin

lucas, a.k.a. Lucasi bought out dufferin a while back and their press release said all dufferin manufacturing in canada will be transferred to china,,,,don't remember the date, but six months should be about up,,,haven't talked to Lucasi lately (not since they came back from Vegas show....
no pretty sure its been in canada,dufferin made probably the best house cues and many other good cues for cheap.i've seen the 1 piece cues out of china and they look good for a few days then after that you make rocking chair bases with them.Donald A. Purdy said:

That's the way I heard it to jack, only It came from a sales rep from one of the old distributors. I was interested in some cheap oversized house cues for making affordable sneakies, either valley or dufferin. I ended up getting some with broken shafts for free from a pool hall owner we do repair for. People are hard on cues there, and they have hundreds of them on the walls, so probably be more to come in the future
. Looks like C&C will be carrying them now, and manufacturing them over seas as You stated. I only live a few miles from them, but have not dealt with them yet out of respect for friends that do use them where I live. I try to go with stuff they don't carry. It amazing what they have done with it since their retail store lucas billiards. I use to play up that way alot back 10-15 years ago, so have been to that location when they sold tables and spas there. Greg
