Looking for a good break cue...

Look into the Viking Fat Daddy...it's what I use and I love it. I put a hard Moori tip on it. It retails for $176

You'd be surprised how your break improves with only a half hour of practice in breaking. With the phenolic tip/ferrule you are probably hopping the cue ball off of the table far too often. (Make your cue stick MORE level when you break to help remedy this problem).

JoeyA

Joey is really onto it imo.

I will add, scuff the tip with some sand paper. It won't scuff up like leather, but it will scratch up a little. Makes a huge difference in how much chalk it will hold.

When you chalk it up, pay close attention...dust that sucker up good.

On top of Joeys advice to keep the cue stick level with the floor, I will add this...CENTER BALL, CENTER BALL, CENTER BALL.
Hit the cue ball dead center as best you can.

Me thinks you don't need a new cue stick, just a new approach and some break practice.

OK, I'm all puffed up now. :D

Center ball, absolutely!

How about a smooth, SLOW, BACKSWING on the final stroke and a smooth transition from back to front and a final accelerating forward swing TOWARD YOUR VERY SMALL TARGET. Oh yeah, don't break from the side rail. You're hitting downward too much and the cue ball is getting away from you.

Phenolic tips hold chalk, just not a lot of it. The biggest problem with phenolic tips is the cue ball wants to hop and jump more than with a hard leather tip.

Does anyone have a video of maybe Marcus showing how to chalk a cue tip? (or anyone else for that matter).

JoeyA, has taught Sengkun everything now!

Hi ALL

Thanks a lot for your kindness to give the opinion. i really owe all of you. Now, i got a little clue about what i should do. But if anybody still want to give their opinion, i really appreciate it.

Thanks

Sorry, for my bad english....

Your English is good. keep that stick, it is a good one. JoeyA, and the others have told you everything you need to know. Change the tip, keep the stick! Or send it to JoeyA. He, He, He! Glad to be of help to you if I can...

I use the Mezz PBII with the Samsara on it. Works great! Jumps even better imo as well. Great combo.
