Look into the Viking Fat Daddy...it's what I use and I love it. I put a hard Moori tip on it. It retails for $176
You'd be surprised how your break improves with only a half hour of practice in breaking. With the phenolic tip/ferrule you are probably hopping the cue ball off of the table far too often. (Make your cue stick MORE level when you break to help remedy this problem).

Joey is really onto it imo.
I will add, scuff the tip with some sand paper. It won't scuff up like leather, but it will scratch up a little. Makes a huge difference in how much chalk it will hold.
When you chalk it up, pay close attention...dust that sucker up good.
On top of Joeys advice to keep the cue stick level with the floor, I will add this...CENTER BALL, CENTER BALL, CENTER BALL.
Hit the cue ball dead center as best you can.
Me thinks you don't need a new cue stick, just a new approach and some break practice.
