i have a old palmer 1x1 tube style case..i would like to find someone to strip the thin layer of leatheret and rewrap it with some leather..need repair to top of lid but i think it would be easy for someone with experince to do.would also like some tubes added as it only has a thin cloth divider..if you do this kind of work i can post pics of case.it would be really awesome if someone who does tooling work could also tool the leather all up with some cool design... thanks mickey carroll

Here on the forum is a Gentleman named Rusty Melton who makes Custom cases. I do not know if he excepts this type of work but. I am certain he could do a great Job, his Custom Cases are second to None.

He go's by capfairpool here on AZ, and Rusty is a hell of great guy!!

thanks

i am very familiar with his work...looking not to spend a bunch of money but who knows maybe someone will speak up and want to take on this small challange...thanks again MW for the quick response...mickey carroll

Now I'm no case maker so really don't know what is easy and what isn't but that doesn't sound like a small challenge to me. Changing somethings design from one type to another sounds quite daunting to me. Adding tubes will take up much more room on the inside than just the dividers, making a new skin would be no different than making one for a new case. I really don't see where you would be saving any money and it just may cost more than a new one plus, once finished, you no longer have a Palmer case but a bastard case. That's just my opinion though.
