looking for a pool hall in Upstate NY...

I just moved back to upstate NY and am looking for a pool hall to make my second home. Anybody know any good places in the Fort Anne/Glens Falls/Lake George area? Or around Rutland, VT? I know there used to be a nice one in downtown Glens Falls but it closed down a few years ago. Haven't heard of any others though.

Don't think there are any new rooms in that area.
in Syracuse there are 3 rooms the nicest is in Camillus called Premium Billiards.
 
Closest to you I know of is Trick Shot down in Clifton Park, about half an hour south of Glens Falls. The same owner just opened a new room called Sharp Shooters in Amsterdam, about 45 minutes from Glens Falls. New Diamond Pro-Am tables, real nice.

Then there is Diamond Eight in Latham (45 minutes) and the old standby in Albany, the Golden Cue (about an hour drive).

Sharp Shooters has a Tuesday special - 4PM to close for $8/shooter. Saturdays is 4PM to close for $10/shooter (summer only). Trick Shot has a Monday special - $7/shooter from 2PM to 2AM.

I'm in the Amsterdam area, if you head over this way send me a PM and I'll duck out of here to shoot some if you want.

Amsterdam is a bit far to go to on a regular basis, but I do make the trip to the Albany area on occasion. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely let you know! :smile:
