Looking for an Andy Gilbert playing cue.

shipping it costs too much to send it next day.If you pay for next day I'll send it that way.I need $600 for it by itself. I paid $75 for the wrap alone. We all know the cue is worth over $500

couple questions duke, i keep coming back to his cue....LOL.

where is the balance point on the cue? is it forward of the wrap? what is the weight?

also does anyone know how the hit of andy's steel jointed cues compare with his wood to wood cues?

thanks

the weight again is about 19oz. the balance point I don't know,it plays very well.

could you do me a favor, put the cue together and see where it balances out on your hand. if its an inch or two forward of the wrap(towards the tip) then you might have just sold the cue for 600 :D

the balance point is about 2 inches in front of the wrap. about mid-point

I would be much more confident in guessing the BP than the weight. I need to get a scale, I can not guess weights very well at all. I would have no problem at all with guessing the BP.

its all good. have you ever hit with one of his phenolic jointed cues? i use a gilbert jump break cue as my playing cue and it hits great. let me know how the steel joint hits, i really like the way gilberts play.

IMO for the money you can't beat andy.

does anyone have his contact info? i may place an order with him

I saw a Gilbert, it was a sneaky type, but it had single veneered points. It looked real nice. There is a website, but I don't think he is the one who has it up.
