I also thought the cue was possibly an SL-5 4 pointer,
Modified afterwards by another cuemaker.

That's a nice looking Schon cue. I don't recall seeing one quite like this before with those veneer colors & inlay arrangement. I would suspect it is from the '88-'92 timeframe. Please let us know what you find out.
