Looking for Baton Rouge Action

I will be in Baton Rouge on Thursday night of this week (Jan. 31). I am looking for some cheap 9 ball sets (race to something for no more than $50.00) or some cheap one pocket (no more than $20.00 per game).

Please respond with a name and location.

Also, does anyone know how to get in touch with Larry LaBauve? He was living in Baton Rouge and got married about three or four years ago.

Try the old Mugsy's (now Corner Pocket, I think) located on Florida Blvd at Sharp Road in the strip center on the NE corner.
As I appreciate it they just re-opened after the fire that began next door spread to their space and pretty much destroyed everything...all new Diamonds and fresh paint.
Would love to hear your assessment of the new place

I might be in bayou b. on thursday depends on schedule.Its kind of hard to see at night the sign is not lit up or the parking lot . there is a Mcdonalds at the light you need to turn at. Im from out of town also but everyone has been very nice. will get back to you if i can make it. all 9 ft diamonds plus some bar boxes.

I will stop by down there. I hope people still recognize me. I have gained 40 pounds since I was in law school.

I know where Bayou Billiards is located. If you want to play, please let me know. I will be there between six and eight oclock.
 
There will be a big 9 ball tourney on Feb 23 and 24th at White Diamonds in Lafayette........ I got off for that weekend to play in it!!
 
dont get off work till 7 or 7:30 hour drive back. will probably go in tonight I might mention to a few guys someone will be coming to play some cheap sets. I havent played anyone for $ in there but you can probably find a game. I would just ask bartender. I should be there by 8:30 thursday
 
I will probably be there between six and seven. I will have two pool cases. One is kind of a brown/orange color. The other is black.
