Be careful. Some misleading sellers misrepresent "canxan negro/nargusta" as desert ironwood burl. It is not. Real desert ironwood burl in cue-quality sizes is very rare and can easily run $500-600, whereas canxan negro is a quarter or less.
They are not visually similar, so pictures should be enough to tell the difference. Canxan negro is nice, but it is not desert ironwood burl.

You are right, I paid over 800$ for mine which is beautiful.
