Looking for extra or scrap wood for a project.

I looking to build a box that's about 4" tall x 2" wide X 1" thick. Does anyone have any extra or scrap wood, blocks or sheets(about a 1/4 thick) that would work for this? Looking for any and all kinds of wood. Doesn't matter what kind of wood it is, a mix would be ideal.
Please let know what you have if any and how much you are asking for it shipped to area code 60915.

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find what I'm looking for or have anything that might work? Small pieces will work. 3x2" is perfect.
Please help.
