I know this might be a long shot, but I am having a cue built and having a hard time locating some nicely Figured Mesquite and Spalted Pecan. I was able to find some Mesquite with what is called frogs hair figure, kind of curly. It's on it's way, but would like to see what else is available. I was born in Abilene and now live in Dallas and want a cue built with native Texas woods. The dimension I'm looking for is 1 1/2 X 1/12 X 24" for each piece and must be free of cracks and a moisture content of 10% or less. My cue builder is also looking and thought I would check around as well. Anybody?
