Looking for info on JB Secure Tube interior

I have had a good amount of JB's cases, but they have all had the the Ultrapad interior in them. I really like his cases and I currently use one, but the interior just doesn't fit my needs. It is great and feels very protective, but I hate trying to get my cues in and out, especially if the case is full. I have also owned a ton of tube cases but they are annoying as the cues rattle inside the tubes but I do like the easy in and out of the tube cases. So I am looking to hear people's comments on the secure tube interior JB offers on his website as an option. I am curious how come I never really see it in cases that come up for sale or when people post pics of their new cases they received. Looking for people that have owned it and their experience. I am wondering if it will give me the easy in and out of the traditional tube case but with more padding so it won't rattle. Thanks in advance.

It may sound like I'm scoffing a bit but what is so hard to get the butts and shafts in and out of the ultra-pad? I have a JB and much prefer it to the tube cases I "used" to have. I've modified the ultra pad with spacers (wine corks) stuffed into the bottom of the chambers as necessary to get a finger purchase onto the pin protectors.

I think John said a while back that he was going to quit making the tube style cases and only build the ultrapad interiors. I could be wrong so you might want to check with him first.

How much of a 29 inch shaft with a joint protector is sticking out from the ultra pad?

How much of the butt is sticking out?
