Hello all! I'm new here and I'm looking for some info on women's pool for project I'm working on. Figured I'd ask the experts!
I'm trying to identify some archetypes in women's pool today, and I'm looking only for women who would potentially play against one another in a US Tournament. Maybe you all can tell me who fits these descriptions:
The "Champ: - This is who is on top right now.
The "Runner Up" - This is the second best player. Someone poised to take the title from the champ in 2018.
The "Up and Commer" - This is that younger player who is on the rise. Hasn't won a major championship yet, but very well could in 2018.
The "Veteran" - This is that player who has been around a long while and who maybe isn't on top, but still could very well be - maybe one last time.
The "Wild Card" - This is that player who is really good, but has a BIG personality. Maybe she isn't the best of the best, but she's fun to watch - maybe temperamental and energetic. Sort of like the McEnroe or Pete Weber of Women's pool.
Thank you!
Brad
