Looking for nice joint protectors cheap?

I just purchased some joint protectors from a guy named Lonnie Wilber on Ebay(username "pipe1976"). I sent him pictures of my cue and he put together a great 3 piece set for me that matched up great with the cue for $17 shipped. He was very helpful, nice, and reasonably priced! They fit the joints perfect and the rings/color look elegant and very well done. I have no relation with Lonnie, but from this one transaction and the price he did these for I thought it would be nice to spread the word for anybody looking for a nice and cheaply priced set of joint protectors. I have bought three sets from him in the past. He is a wounded Veteran by the way. This is his extra income to get by. I liked every set I received from him. They were very nice, simple, protect your joint, joint protectors.

I don't think I'm allowed to post a link but, go to the billiards section on Ebay and type "joint protectors" in the search bar and his are usually $9-$23 for a two piece set. When you find one, look at the seller's ID name, it should read Pipe1976. Contact him if you want a 3 piece set, matching wood or a special set. He'll have a web link when you find him.

Thanks for info. I've ordered a custom set for my Schon. I just provided a picture of my cue and provided joint type info. I'll post pics once I receive them.
 
I have bought 3 sets also, very nice and a good guy, I believe he is a disabled vet as well. He also makes pipes, good guy to work with. Tom

He's great to work with

I got a set from him ...turnaround was immediate....at least six different shapes to choose from and a dozen wood types (exotic ones too)...same deal...I paid approx $17 for a set of three (2 shafts) ....absolutely perfect...I told him it was for a 70's Joss West and that was that...excellent fit.......Matt

Received mine today

I asked Lonnie to make something 'custom' for my SCHON. He added a dual ring to each piece, looks and fit great.
