Looking for Pool Team to join in Los Angeles, CA South Bay

I'm a beginner player looking to join a local pool team in the Los Angeles, California, South Bay area.

I currently live in Carson, CA but I was wondering if there are any 8-ball or 9-ball teams I could join in the Torrance or Gardena area. I would join the APA, but going to San Gabriel valley is too far of a drive for me...

Any help you guys can give me would be great. Hopefully, there's someone from my area that frequents these forums that could help me out.

Thanks for replying, district111. I haven't been there, but I've heard of it and have been to their website. Do know anyone I could talk to there about getting on a pool team? Or do you think I should just show up and start asking around?
