I am looking for a new or used Schuler cue. Please send me pictures and information about the appropriate cues. I would also be interested in finding a custom cue maker who could take my design and make me a cue for a reasonable price. Thank you and as allways Have a Great Day!! :)

It's good when you're posting a wtb ad that you be as specific as possible as to what you want, especially the price range.

1998 purpleheart schuler original

I've got an original purpleheart schuler.
Cue weighs 18.5 - 19.1 +/- 0.1 depending on which shaft is used.
Has been closet kept since 1998 and I pulled it out last year to give it about an hour drive.
Comes with one butt and two shafts: one pro taper at 12.8mm at 29inches and one constant(carom) taper at 12mm at 27.5inches.
I would rate the cue at 85%.
-5% for being test driven for an hour
-5% for a roll in the pro taper shaft (did not affect my shots but that can be subjective)
-5% for a chip off the finish right where the wrap end on the butt sleeve
There is no damage to the wood. There is a close-up so show you that the chip is only about 2 threads thick. It can easily be fixed by a rewrap and a slight extension of the wrap area instead of trying to refinish the whole cue.

I am looking for $440 shipped via FedEx. Let me know if you are interested.

I have several Schulers for sale. Click on the link to my Ebay store pic one you like and we can work out a reasonable price.

I am very interested in getting a custom made shuler created in a design of my choice. I have a few designs that i have found on the internet and I was wondering if anyone knew of a person who could make one for me at a reasonable price. I am not only looking for schuler so if anyone knows of a cue maker that they would recommend I would also appreciate that information...Thank You and Have a Great Day!!

I hate to state the obvious here, but only Schuler can make a Schuler cue. I make Hightower Cues. Mike Webb builds Webb cues and so on. Someone might be willing to make a cue similar to a Schuler, but it will not be a Schuler. If you want a Schuler, but want a design they won't build, buy a Schuler with the wood combo you want and get someone on the Cuemakers forum to inlay it and refinish and rewrap it the way you want it.

Schuler Cue is still in business. For a custom I think it more productive to talk directly to them rather than one of their dealers. Call 888-843-1283 and ask for Terry Trim (the owner) or Brian Trim (the manager). Or maybe Noel Mendosa (sp?), who is, I believe, the head cuemaker. Their website is
www.schulercue.com and their email is schulercue@sbcglobal.net.

I am sure they are willing to do customs.

Thank You for your responses...I am sorry about my above post I meant that I would also be interested in getting a cue custom made by someone else at a reasonable price that was not a schuler. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for pointing that out, and the information.

Do you have a price range and link to something similar to what you want? If you would rather PM me that is okay.

I have 2 origanal schulers( original meaning when ray was still alive and making them) made in 1999-2000 I think. They are both in excellent condition. One is a 4point ebony into BEM with lots of inlays, the other is a 4 point cocobola into BEM with ebony spears. Both are like new. I would sell one but not both. thanks-jeff

Yes I have pics send me your email either here or a PM to me. I can't get pics to post here. BTW can someone walk me through how to post pics on this site? thanks-jeff

Michael,

I assume you are the one down at the grandstand with tanner in pierre occasionally? If so, my dad has a very nice ebony wrapless schuler with points. It looks great compared to most schulers in my opinion. I played with it for a couple weeks and dad played with it for a couple also. Let me know if you are interested and we could work something out. It has two squirtless shafts. One being like 12.8 mm and the other around 12.5 mm. Weighs 19oz.

yes that is me. I am interested in getting a new cue I am just trying to decide what. Do you have any pictures of that schuler? And Congratulations on the state championship. How did that city tourney turn out with you and tanner.
