Anyone selling a break cue. Please let me know. It must be as solid as a Schon. I have 2 cheap break cues that now rattle. I want almost zero flex in the shaft and very tight joint. Schon does not make a no frills cue optherwise I would purchase one.

Based on what you said here...I would recommend a Predator Break cue. I personally use a Sledgehammer, but for you, I would not recommend it because it is designed for people who break softer and want to spread the balls better. If you have a hard, Phi-slamma-jamma, break, the Predator is hands down the best cue. I don't have one for sale, but any of the dudes here can easily point you to a seller of them.

Thanks,
Shorty

I (even though i hate to say it, but) agree :D .
Last weekend i broke with my break cue, a friends "sledge hammer style" break cue, and another friends Predator BK.
If you feel comfortable breaking hard, the predator is (gulp....) great.
If you like to lay off a bit, but want a fast break, the sledge hammer style would be better.
But, if you like to blast the rack, and want to blast them even harder, go with the sledge hammer style. :D

Thanks,

How about an Auerbach J/B?

I have an Auerbach Jump/Break cue that hits like a ton of bricks. It weighs around 21 ozs. and has an ash wood shaft, which is very stiff and rock solid. The forearm is a natural wood color, with a black wrap. It has a black ferrule with a super-hard tip. Email me if you're interested and we can discuss the price, which is fairly reasonable compared to the other cues mentioned already. Also, has a quick-release joint above the wrap to convert to a jump cue.

another great cue to consider is the mace by rick howard .....i have had the chance to break with many of the cues mentioned and for all around useage i recommend the mace with a hard buffalo that has been taken down some and has a flatter than normal shape.......the other cues mentioned are very good cues and i take nothing from them but the mace is a cue that will stand up for itself against any jump/break out there .....i think they retail right now for about 350 brand new and i promise it is well worth the investment.......hope you find that special little cue .....take care ....juston coleman

been looking

Juston.

I've been looking for a mace for a month now. Spoke to Rick and he is still getting straightened out after the fire in his shop. He says he should have some done in a month or so but I have been trying to find one sooner. If you hear of any let me know

Joe

personally i would have to say the Mace I have one and I love it I have a moori hard tip on it. breaks like a champ and also plays good too for a B/J. Yea I was sorry to hear about the Fire in Ricks shop I was going to go out there and Have him put a tips on my schon and my brothers Nova, and see about getting another shaft built for my mace. I guess I will have to wait though.
